Abstract
Oneofthemostfrequentaccidentsthattakeplaceduringstandardendodontictreatment is instrument fracture. The fractured instrument such as a metallic obstruction inthe root canal system, hinders cleaning and shaping operations, and affects the effectivenessofendodontictherapy.Themanagementofinstrumentfracture,factorsthataffe ctinstrumentfracture,andprecautionsforinstrumentfracturearethethreeheadingsusedtoel aborateonthistopicin thisreview.
